Lighting Splitter centered around working with a child actor for most of the film. Together with Jakob, we designed the lighting approach so that the larger setups remained outside the locations whenever possible, leaving only minimal additions inside the space. This allowed us to keep lighting resets to a minimum and maintain a calm, unobtrusive environment for the actors.
Our aim was to create a controlled naturalism in every frame — shaping light in a subtle way that gently supported the emotional atmosphere of the film without drawing attention to itself.
